Our Story

Hi! We’re James Buitrago and Zak Rhouat — best friends since college and co-founders of Clean Team Junk Removal.

We both grew up doing physical jobs in high school and college. After graduating with our degrees in economics, we spent a few years in the corporate world... and realized it wasn’t for us. It felt like the work didn’t really help anyone and we were not contributing as much as we would have liked to.

So, we left. And we started Clean Team with one goal: to make junk removal feel honest, human, and helpful.
